Alternately, you can fax us a drawing (with measurements) at (773)235-3839, or if you would like us to come out to your location and see the space, and offer ideas, you can call our office at (773) 235-3719 to set up an appointment. We charge $100 for this service, which can be applied toward your project, when you sign the contract.

What type of products do you make?

The most common are White / Red Oak, White / Red Birch, Maple, and Cherry, but we can work with any type of wood for your project, if you had something else in mind.

Is there a difference in price between different species of woods?

Yes. Our base price is in Oak, from there, expect to add approximately 10% to the price for Birch, 20% for Maple, and 30% for Cherry.

What about stains and other finishes?

We have 15 stock colors of stain for you to choose from, and in addition, we can paint your piece in any color that you wish. If you require a stain to be matched, or a custom color, we can match it at an additional charge.

Why can't I just get a price quote over the phone?

Many factors go into our pricing, for instance: size, wood type and other materials, number of doors, type of doors, number of drawers, any lighting, layout, and moulding. It is a complex process and very difficult to do over the phone without face-to-face contact.

Do you have an X- size bookcase in stock?

We do not stock any cabinets. All of our cabinets are custom, made-to-order.

Could you just give me a ballpark figure?

So many factors go into our pricing that it is difficult to give a ballpark figure. A wall unit, for instance, can run from $2000 to $15,000, or possibly more, depending. It is best just to come in for a quote.

How are your prices compared to others in the area?

Our prices are usually less than or equal to other custom cabinet shops in the area, but our prices are higher than you would find at a home improvement warehouse that has cabinets in stock. Our quality is substantially higher, however.

Where will my cabinets be made?

All of our products are made in our shop, adjacent to our showroom. You can take a tour and view other projects being made when you stop by for your estimate.

What is your service area?

We install cabinets throughout the Chicagoland area, including the suburbs.

What is the lead time on your cabinets? How long will it take to have my cabinets installed?

It is usually about 4 to 8 weeks before your cabinetss are ready to be installed, and installation is usually a straightforward affair. For a wall unit, built-in, or bookcase, it usually only takes about a day or so, larger projects may take more time.

What is your payment schedule?

Usually we require 50% upon acceptance of the contract, and 50% upon completion of the job. On some larger projects, we may break the payments up further.

Do you offer financing?

Our company does not, however we can refer you to a lender. Be sure to ask when you come in to visit our showroom.
